As Hollywood icons, everyone seems to have that notion that celebrities can afford to wear various clothes as they please. But when these stars tend to show they have some favorite dress (read: wearing the same frock/s in different events), some of us would probably be amazed at how “ordinary” these stars could be.

And frankly, I am quite amazed with Heidi Montag’s tendency to wear a frock twice in two major events in less than a week.

Wearing a Chloe dress and matching shoes Heidi hit Kitson to promote her clothing line, Heidiwood. Days later, The Hills star attended the White House Correspondents Dinner in D.C. clad in the same outfit (with a different bag)!

Well lately I noticed that I am having this fancy writing about celebrities who glow about something (and not just in fashion per se). I suddenly found myself loving to write about those who exudes an inner glow in them whether it’s because of motherhood like Nicole Richie, or experience and age ala Madonna, and excitement just like Sarah Jessica Parker.

I admit, although it had been almost a year of blogging about the hits and misses and celebrity fashion, there are still times (a lot to be specific) when I get confused with my entries. You know, the kind where my mind’s arguing whether or not a celebrity look is gorgeous or ugly.

Just like what Janest Jackson has here arriving at the 19th Annual GLAAD Media Awards in California.

Well I was really in awe at first looking at Janet wearing this white suit added with a touch of charm through pink stripes. It absolutely has that regal appeal. However, looking close at it, you begin to think if the suit is too small not to fit in Janet’s chest or too big that it looks so bulging on her legs.

Then you begin to notice that her hair is as big as her suit like she just had herself New York, NY hair transplants. And you tell yourself, “It ain’t that regal after all.”

Darn! Maybe you can help me give the verdict for this look.

Nicole Richie has always been someone who’s never afraid to dress up and be different when it comes to fashion. A lot of times she made it here to Celebrity Fashion Watch and she’s always on the hit category. Come to think of it, I actually can’t remember a time when she had her share of fashion disaster here on this blog.

Anyway, fulfilling her traffic school duties in Los Angeles, the 26-year-old socialite stayed true to being a trendsetter by donning a ‘60s inspired floral frock paired with strappy flat sandals. Her oversized shades actually complimented her face well especially her nose that seem to have undergone nose surgery revision.

Well I guess being unconventional is something that’s really Nicole. From her pregnancy to post pregnancy looks, the new mom have always showed her individuality through the frocks she wear.

And now that her partner, Joel is back from their month-long world tour, I’ll be expecting a more glowing Nicole in the coming days.

After initiating the “trend” of “crotch display” on mag covers to stars like Alanis Morissette and Julianne Moore, Madonna seems to go a little toned down with her fashion statement during the premiere of her documentary I Am Because We Are at the Tribeca Film Festival in New York City.

Clad in a tribal print Gucci dress and high black boots Madonna is a picture of a woman of age and success (something I’ve always wanted her to look). And when I say woman of age, I don’t actually mean “old” but someone who has that aura of dignity and honor (Whew! That was deep!). She has that dignified look that seems to be so un-Material Girl; like someone who can’t get enough of her Washington DC rhinoplasty.

Anyway, aside from that look demanding respect, I actually love the tribal-print dress Madonna sported. It looks so funky and comfortable in her.

Madonna by the way was successful in adopting little David Banda.

With only 34 days before the much-anticipated premiere of Sex and the City: The Movie, it’s actually not a surprise to see Sarah Jessica Parker on almost everywhere.

Gracing the cover of French Elle’s latest mag issue, the 43-year-old actress is looking so fresh and youthful in a black balloon dress with a necklace made of several black stones as her only accessory.

What I actually like most of this cover is that warm smile and glow on SJP’s face. Unlike her character on the movie as Carrie Bradshaw who’s a fashion daredevil, the cover shows Sarah Jessica’s own fashion taste. – Girly but classy.

And while other Hollywood celebrities like Madonna, Alanis Morissette and Julianne Moore who seem to have already frequented plastic surgeons in Chicago Illinois, prove hard of their still-selling sex appeal with their daring pictorials, SJP settled to look happy and content with her age here.

And guess what’s next for Sarah Jessica? American Vogue’s June issue cover. Super!
